About Braden Knebel

HELP BRADEN GET HIS LIFE-SAVING HEART TRANSPLANT!

With the cost of a transplant often exceeding $500,000, many transplant families are unable to shoulder the financial burden of such a procedure.  The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) is a national charity dedicated to organizing and guiding communities in raising funds for transplant-related expenses.  In Jefferson, volunteers are raising funds for COTA in honor of transplant patients like local boy, Braden Knebel.

Braden is the son of Matt and Michelle Knebel.  Born on December 7, 2009, he has already underwent three heart surgeries and a gtube/nissen surgery. Braden was diagnosed with Restrictive Cardiomyopathy in July 2012.  The doctors at Children’s HealthCare of Atlanta at Egleston in Atlanta, Georgia have recommended a life-saving heart transplant.  An estimated $50,000 is being raised by Jefferson volunteers.
